AppleFest 2010 - October 2nd

 AppleFest 2010 will be an amazing inaugural event held on October 2nd, 2010 hosted by Beacon Christian School! Everyone is welcome - bring your friends and neighbours!

AppleFest begins with a morning breakfast and ends with an outdoor concert beginning at 8 pm.  

Stones Throw a Christian band from London, ON will be our main stage entertainment for the evening.  Concerts are being planned for 2 pm and 7 pm as well.  Check back for additional details.

The day will be filled with all kinds of fun for the whole community - it's a family friendly event for all to enjoy!

• Great Food all Day (Applefloppen, Apple Pies, and maybe Apple Blossoms!)
• Contests (guess how many apples?, people's choice apple pie contest - submit your pies for entry)
• Outdoor Games (Jump n Bounce, Striker Ball, Jousting)
• Indoor Games
• Contests (Make a Scarecrow, decorate a pumpkin, guess apple varieties)
• Child Care
• Marketplace filled with all kinds of produce and flowers - fruits of the harvest and so much more
• Penny Table
• Yummy Croquettes
  
• Retail/Exhibit Fair (indoor tables and outdoor tent spaces) - interested in renting space to sell your crafts, product or promote your business see forms below
• And much more

There are many ways you can help as well.  Through volunteering your time, donating items, praying for this event and so much more.

Consider the following ways you can help:

• Penny Table:  Pick up great deals on items of $25 value
• Grow to Give: Give to Grow - why not grow something in your garden and donate to the marketplace
• Yummy Desserts:  Many will be needed for the Cafe Room and Restaurant
• The Marketplace:  Baked goodies, breads, canned goods, preserves, all market possibilities can be donated
• Sponsorship of the event:   Please see the side bar for information on how you can sponsor

Proceeds will go to Beacon Christian School, alongside our adopted 2010 charities for AppleFest: Gillian's Place and The RAFT!
