Beacon Christian Schools, located in the beautiful Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, is accepting applications for the position of Director of Schools for the 2010-2011 school year. Beacon Christian Schools is a JK through grade 12 system with 320 students who are enjoying the blessings of rejuvenated facilities. A multi-denominational school community, Beacon Christian Schools strives to equip students to impact communities by serving Christ. The successful candidate will give evidence of a strong Biblical world and life view, dynamic visionary leadership, effective organizational and interpersonal skills, and a strong business acumen in an educational environment. While managing societal and association responsibilities, the Director of Schools is a servant leader who will enable the administrative team, staff, students, and volunteers to implement the vision of Beacon Christian Schools. The Director of Schools will also be responsible for communicating and advancing the vision and educational philosophy of Beacon Christian Schools with the broader community. Beacon Christian Schools is looking for a Director of Schools who demonstrates a joyful relationship with Jesus Christ and passion for advancing Christian education. Qualifications include holding a Masters Degree in a relevant area of experience and/or a CSPC, with a minimum of 5 years of administrative experience.

This is a definite, full time position.
