At Beacon Christian Schools we believe that we are called to serve God and His Kingdom in all areas of life. The high school years are a time where our children are both PREPARING for Kingdom service while simultaneously serving God RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW. God calls us to be a Body of Christ with a vision for “the world” beyond our local Christian communities, and we are therefore commanded to seek out opportunities to “influence.” Our school program attempts to provide our students with an opportunity to be shaped by this vision, whether they are in a classroom, in the hallways of the school, playing for a sports team, participating in various co-curricular activities, etc. It is our prayer that this vision continues to shape their actions and interactions beyond the school as well. 

 

As a Christian secondary school, we believe it is our task to partner with parents and community churches to prepare our students to follow Christ in all areas of their life.  To that end, we offer a challenging curriculum that authentically connects our Christian faith to our students’ learning experiences while meeting or exceeding Ontario Ministry of Education requirements.
