Art at Beacon

Walking through the halls at Beacon, it is evident that visual arts plays a major roll in everyday learning. The walls are adorned with the products of beauty created from JK to Grade 8, artwork is an important part of the classroom curriculum. Whether it is painting pictures in the style of Emily Carr, creating sculptures with a variety of mediums, learning the process of printmaking or drawing a self-portrait, the teachers at Beacon strive to introduce and include visual arts at all levels.
